Since stimulating the Vernon housing market with drastic discounts on golf home building sites in June, The Rise has seen an eager response from real estate buyers. Eleven lots have sold, and some buyers have purchased more than one upon realizing the exceptional value of their investment. The 30 per cent reduction has caused lots that were initially priced at $500,000 to go for $350,000. Many of these sites are overlooking Lake Okanagan, and are situated within a master-planned community that includes a Fred Couples signature golf course, vineyards and a beach club. The golf course is open, amid rave reviews.
