Tee time instead of tea time

Women can now earn their stripes on the golf course with the help of Links for Women Golf Schools

During the summer, the buzz is all about vacations, barbeques and above all, hitting the course to tee off for a round of golf! For many people, golf’s popularity lies in the fact that it is a relaxing sport that relieves stress. But, there are women out there who feel intimidated to step foot on the golf course in fear of not knowing the rules, etiquette and specifics of the game, such as what club to use or when to chip and when to putt. For these ladies, Links for Women Golf Schools is the answer!

A Popular Program: Links for Women is Canada’s only national golf program designed exclusively for women. Since 2000, more than 10,000 women have participated in the program.

Links for Women Golf Schools are one-day teaching and playing clinics designed exclusively for women. They give women a safe, comfortable and non-threatening environment to learn the game of golf, so that they can play in their corporate golf tournament or with their husbands, friends, partners and colleagues confidently.

Instructors are CPGA teaching professionals who offer hands-on instruction on all aspects of the game of golf, from putting and full swing, to etiquette and course management. Women can sign up to spend the day learning the art of golf, while networking with other like-minded women, building relationships and launching an important career-building tool.
