Adam Svensson (14), Surrey, B.C. » Svensson has competed in multiple Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego as a member of the CJGA Team Canada and has recorded several strong results. He won the CJGA 2008 season opener at Northview Golf & Country Club shooting rounds of 67 and 71.

Sue Kim (17), Langley, B.C. » Kim became the first amateur to win on the CN Canadian Women’s Tour by outlasting the competition over two rounds—including a three-hole playoff—to win the season opening event at Richmond Country Club, in Richmond, B.C.
Christopher Ballesteros (9), Vancouver, B.C. » Ballesteros was named a “superb player” by the MJT. This is his first full season with MJT, but he’s already registered for nine tournaments this year and with an average stroke of 86, it won’t be his last year—not by a long shot.
Burke Nagle (19), Winnipeg, MB » Nagle, who has been a member of MJT since 2003, took all the glory at his first event of the year at the Meadows Golf & Country Club in East St. Paul, MB.
Graham and Mackenzie Osborne (16), Comox, B.C. » This is the first year for the Osborne twins as part of the MJT,
but they’re off to a promising start—and seem to be keeping pace with each other. In their first tournament of the season, they tied for fifth place; in the second, they ran neck and neck, ending is third and fourth place finishes.
Kevin Lee (13), Surrey, B.C. » Lee has won three tournaments already in 2008, including a recent win at the Swan-e-set Bay Golf Course in Pitt Meadows with a two-day score of 146. He also won the RCGA Future Links Pacific event in the Juvenile Division in April.
Jennifer Yang (14), Coquitlam, B.C. » Yang started 2008 with a bang—she already has two CJGA division wins to her credit, including a win at Swan-e-set Bay Golf Course, where she posted an impressive two-day score of 147.
Ryan Werre (15), Redcliff, AB » Werre had a tremendous year in 2007, with a trip to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to participate in the 14- and 15-year-old division of the 2007 Optimist International Junior Golf Championship. He followed that up with an impressive score of 69 to tie Lewis Chong for the MJT-Alberta PGA Junior Boys championship.
